Dice with the lid
Place the onion or potato on a dicing grid, close the lid and press. Even dice fall straight into the container below — no board, no tears.
Slice and grate on top
Slot in a slicing or grating insert and run the vegetable across it with the hand guard. Cucumber, carrot and courgette in one motion each.
